- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Apparel Technology + 1 yr experience
- 2 yrs Diploma in Dress Making/Garment Fabrication/Costume Designing + 2 yrs experience
- NTC/NAC in Dress Making + 3 yrs experience
8. Senior Instructor (DTPO)

Academic: Madhyamik (10th) pass or equivalent
Technical (any one):
- B.Voc/Degree in Printing Technology + 1 yr exp. (Computer & DTP)
- 2 yrs Diploma in Printing Technology / Adv. Diploma (Vocational, DGT) + 2 yrs exp. (Computer & DTP)
- NTC/NAC in Desktop Publishing Operator + 3 yrs exp. (relevant field)
9. Senior Instructor (COPA)
No. of posts: 06 (ST-02, SC-1 & UR-03)
Academic: Madhyamik (10th) pass or equivalent
Technical (any one):
- B.Voc/Degree in Computer Science/IT + 1 yr exp.
- PG in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application or NIELIT-B Level + 1 yr exp.
- Bachelor in CS/IT/Computer Application or PGDCA or NIELIT-A Level + 2 yrs exp.
- 3 yrs Diploma in CS/IT or Adv. Diploma (Vocational, DGT) + 2 yrs exp.
- NTC/NAC in COPA trade + 3 yrs exp.
10. Senior Instructor (Employability Skill)
No. of posts: 02 (SC-01 & UR-01)
Academic: MBA/BBA/Any Graduate/Diploma in any discipline + 2 yrs exp. + Short Term TOT course in Employability Skill from DGT Institute (must have studied English/Communication Skill).
Technical: Basic Computer knowledge (at 12th/Diploma level & above).
# Essential Qualification (for all trades):
- CITS course in relevant trade under NCVT (for both Diploma & Degree holders).
- If not completed at selection time → must clear within 3 years of appointment.
- Training cost to be borne by the candidate.
- Non-completion within time → appointment terminated.
Other Details of Industries & Commerce Tripura
Pay: Rs.26,025/-(revised) fixed per month being 75% of basic pay (Level-10) of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.
Age Limit: Up to 40 years. Relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST/PH & Govt employees; ex-servicemen as per norms.
Selection Process: -
1. Written Examination
Engineering Trades:
- Paper: General Studies & Engineering Aptitude
- 170 MCQs, 170 marks, 2½ hours
- Part-A: General Studies – 50 questions
- Part-B: Engineering Aptitude – 120 questions
- Negative marking: ¼ mark for each wrong answer
Non-Engineering Trades:
- Paper: General Knowledge & Trade/Subject Aptitude
- 170 MCQs, 170 marks, 2½ hours
- Part-A: General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 50 questions
- Part-B: Trade/Subject Aptitude – 120 questions
- Negative marking: ¼ mark for each wrong answer
2. Interview/Personality Test
- Maximum 5 times the total posts (category-wise) called based on written exam merit
- Minimum qualifying marks: UR – 50%, SC – 45%, ST – 40% (or as fixed by the committee)
- Total marks: 30
- Absence = candidature cancelled
- Final merit = Written Exam + Personality Test marks
Certificate/Document Verification: After written exam results, candidates submit self-attested copies:
- Age proof (DOB/Admit Card)
- Educational certificates & mark sheets (Madhyamik onwards)
- Caste/PH/Ex-Serviceman certificate (if applicable)
- PRTC, Experience certificates with designation, work type, joining & end dates

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) per application.
Mode of Application: Online only via Department Portal
Application Period: 15-09-2025 to 07-10-2025 (up to 5:30 PM).
Registration:
- New users must complete One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the website.
- OTPR generates a Registration ID sent to the registered email.
- Use this ID to apply for the post.

- Recent passport-size color photograph (JPG, 4–100 KB)
- Full signature (JPG, 4–100 KB)
- No other documents needed at the time of application.
Eligibility: Candidates must possess required qualifications by the closing date. Admission to exams is provisional.
Previous Applicants: Those who applied against Advt. NO. ICA/D/1819/20 need not apply again; their age will be considered from the previous submission date.
