Eligibility Criteria for Tripura Assembly


1. Junior Reporter

Qualification:

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Typing speed: 30 WPM each in English & Bengali
  • Shorthand speed: 100 WPM each in English & Bengali

2. Translator (English)

Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in any discipline with good proficiency in English
  • Must be capable of translating between Bengali ↔ English

Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok

3. L.D. Assistant-cum-Typist

Qualification:

  • Passed S.F./H.S. or equivalent
  • Typing speed: 30 WPM in English

Preference:

  • Graduate candidates
  • Candidates with typing proficiency in both English & Bengali

4. Receptionist

Qualification:

  • Passed S.F./H.S. or equivalent
  • Typing speed: 30 WPM in English

Preference:

  • Graduate candidates
  • Candidates with typing proficiency in both English & Bengali

5. Library Assistant

Qualification:

  • Passed S.F./H.S. or equivalent
  • Typing speed: 30 WPM in English

Preference:

  • Graduate candidates
  • Candidates with typing proficiency in both English & Bengali

6. Junior Operator

Qualification:

  • Passed Madhyamik or equivalent
  • Proficiency in operating tape recorders, P.A. systems, and other audio-visual equipment

7. Assistant Manager (MLA’s Hostel)

  • Qualification: Passed Matriculation or equivalent
  • Preference: Experience in catering services

8. Driver

Qualification:

  • Passed Class VIII
  • Valid Heavy & Light Motor Vehicle driving licence
  • Capable of performing minor vehicle repairs

9. Sorter

  • Qualification: Passed Matriculation or equivalent
  • Desirable: Experience in Library work

10. Watch & Ward

Qualification: Passed Class X

11. Junior Cook

  • Qualification: Minimum Primary level education
  • Desirable: Experience in cooking

12. Peon

Qualification:

  • For General category: Minimum Class VIII passed
  • For SC/ST candidates: Minimum Class V passed

Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok

13. Room Attendant

Qualification:

  • For General category: Minimum Class VIII passed
  • For SC/ST candidates: Minimum Class V passed

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 40 years (for UR category)

Upper age relaxation: Up to 5 years for:
