Qualification
- Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) in First Division.
- The applicant must have passed the MLIS or an equivalent examination in 2025 or 2026.
- Candidates who have passed the MLIS or equivalent examination with First Division before 2025 are not eligible to apply.
Essential Skills
- Working knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Working knowledge of Library Management/Digital Library Software.
- Good writing skills.
Stipend: ₹20,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Not exceed 27 years.
Other Details of NIT Agartala
1. Internship Duration
- The maximum period of the Library Trainee position will be 12 months from the date of joining.
- The term may be extended to another 12 months based on the performance and requirements of the Institute.
- Training can be terminated at any time if there is no seriousness about training on the trainee's part.
- The training tenure cannot be extended beyond two years.
- A trainee may avail up to 30 days of holidays in a year, but not more than 7 days in a spell.
