The Directorate of Social Welfare & Social Education, Government of Tripura, has invited offline applications for appointment to the posts of Chairperson and Member of Child Welfare Committees (CWC) and Social Worker Member of Juvenile Justice Boards (JJB) in various districts of Tripura. Qualification

➧ For CWC Chairperson & Members

➧ Degree in Child Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Social Work, Sociology, Human Health, Education, Human Development, Medicine, or Special Education for Differently-Abled Children.

➧ Must have at least 7 years of active involvement in child welfare, education, or health-related activities, or be a practicing professional in the relevant field.


➧ For JJB Social Worker Members

➧ Degree in Child Psychology, Psychiatry, Sociology, or Law.

➧ Must be a practicing professional and have at least 7 years of experience in child welfare, education, or health-related activities.

Age Limit

➧ Minimum Age: 35 Years

➧ Maximum Age: 65 Years

➧ Age will be calculated as on the date of notification.

Remuneration

➧ Rs. 2,000/- per sitting.

➧ Includes Sitting Allowance, Travel Allowance, and other admissible allowances.

➧ Appointment will be for a tenure of up to 3 years.

➧ Applicant must be a resident of Tripura.

➧ Must not have any record of child rights or human rights violations.

➧ Must not have been convicted for offences involving moral turpitude.

➧ Must not be insolvent.

➧ Must not hold any office in a political party.
