Eligibility Criteria for APS Agartala
(i) TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher
Essential qualifications:
- Four-year Integrated Degree in relevant subject OR Post Graduation + 3-year Integrated B.Ed/M.Ed OR Bachelor’s Degree with required subject combinations (50% marks).
- B.Ed from NCTE recognized institute (min 50%).
- CTET/TET qualified.
- Proficiency in English medium.
- Desirable: Computer knowledge.
- Note: No B.Ed relaxation for TGT (Computer Science).
(ii) PRT – Primary Teacher (All Subjects)
Required qualification:
- Graduate with D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed/B.Ed (50% marks).
- B.Ed candidates must do 6-month Bridge Course/PDPET as per NCTE (within 2 years).
- CTET/TET qualified.
- English medium proficiency.
- Desirable: Computer knowledge.
(iii) NTT – Nursery Teacher
Qualification:
- Graduation (50% marks).
- Fresh Teacher: 2-year Diploma in NTT/ECCE/D.E.E.Ed or B.Ed (Nursery) from NCTE recognized institute.
- In-service Teacher: NTT/ECCE from IGNOU/NIOS/NCTE recognized institutes.
(iv) Special Educator
Qualification:
- B.Ed in Special Education (50%) + 2 years experience OR
- Diploma in Special Education (50%) + 3 years experience
(v) Activity Teacher (Art/Music)
Qualification:
- BFA/MFA (Fine Arts) OR Diploma in Art & Craft
- Specialization in relevant art forms preferred.
- Optional Certifications: Additional art-related certifications considered beneficial. OR
- Music: Graduate in Music OR Higher Secondary with recognized Music Certifications (e.g., Sangeet Visharad/Prabhakar etc.)
(vi) Librarian
Qualification:
- B.Lib OR Graduate + Diploma in Library Science
- Computer literate + Minimum 3 years experience
(vii) Accountant
Qualification:
- Commerce Graduate OR 15 years’ service as Clerk (Defense).
- 1-year Computer Application Diploma/Course
- Knowledge of double entry accounting, Excel, accounting software
- Minimum 5 years experience (Accounts Clerk in Defense/Reputed Organization)
(viii) LDC – Lower Division Clerk
Qualification:
- Graduation OR 10 years Clerk service (Ex-Serviceman)
- Typing Speed: 45 WPM
- Computer literate
Other Details of APS Agartala Recruitment
Preference: Candidates with strong English communication skills and IT skills for creating educational content will be given preference.
