Eligibility Criteria for NIT Agartala
1. Essential Qualifications:
First Class Master’s Degree in any of the following:
M.Tech in Chemical Technology/Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/ Environmental Engineering.
OR
M.Sc in Chemical Sciences/Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry.
OR
Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to the project area.
Proven experience in handling and operating GC/LC with Mass Spectrometry and ability to analyze and interpret chromatograms.
Experience Criteria: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Desirable Criteria:
- Ph.D. holders will be given preference if relevant experience is available.
- Preference for candidates with relevant field/laboratory experience.
- Preference for candidates with publications in Scopus/SCI indexed journals.
- NET/GATE/Equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in laboratory work with willingness for field trials, sampling, and travel.
Monthly Emoluments:
- Research Fellow (JRF/SRF): ₹31,000 per month (Year 1 & 2) and ₹35,000 per month (Year 3 onwards, if applicable).
- Project Assistant: ₹18,000 per month (Year 1 & 2) and ₹21,000 per month (Year 3 onwards, if applicable).
- Research Associate: ₹45,000 per month (Year 1 & 2) and ₹50,000 per month (Year 3 onwards, if applicable).
