Medical College (A.G.M.C), Agartala for Regional Geriatric Centre (RGC) in Agartala Govt. Medical College (AGMC) & G.B. Pant Hospital under the National Programme for Health Care of the Elderly (NPHCE Project), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Department of Health & Family Welfare), Government of India.

1. Professor Geriatric Medicine
No of Posts: 01 (UR)
Age: Up to 65 years, may be considered up to 70 years
Minimum Qualification: Recognized PG degree in General Medicine/Geriatric Medicine/Family Medicine or as amended by MCI.
Experience: Prof. of Gen.Med./Assoc.Prof.General Medicine/Geriatric Medicine/Family Medicine of more than 03 years in Medical College.
Emolument (Per Month): Rs. 75,000/-
2. Assistant Professor
No of Posts: 02 (UR-1, ST-1)
Age: 50 years (upper age limit is relax able by 5 years for ST, SC, PH and Govt. in service candidates.
Minimum Qualification: Recognized PG degree in General Medicine/Geriatric Medicine/Family Medicine or as amended by MCI.
Experience: Having Experience of AP/SR for 03 (three) years in the General Medicine/Family Medicine/Geriatric Medicine dept. in recognized Medical College.
Emolument (Per Month): Rs. 50,000/-
3. Senior Resident/Medical Officer
No of Posts: 04 (UR-2, ST-1 & SC-1)
Age: Not more than 40 years, 05 years relaxation for ST/SC/PH and Govt. in service candidate.
Experience: 03 (three) years experience as JR in concern dept. in recognized Medical College,
Emolument (Per Month): Rs. 40,000/-
4. Nurses
No of Posts: 16 (UR-8, ST-5 & SC-3)
Age: 18 years to 40 years. Upper age limit is relax able by 5 (five) years in case of SC, ST, PH candidates and Govt. Servants.
Minimum Qualification:
a) H.S (+2 stage) examination passed.
b) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery Course under recognized State/Central Nursing Council.
c) Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
Experience: Candidate having degree in Nursing (B.Sc. in Nursing will be given preference) Preference will also be given to these who have practical experience in line.
Emolument (Per Month): Rs. 15,000/-
5. Physiotherapist
No of Posts: 03 (UR-2, ST-1)
Minimum Qualification:
a) H.S (+2 stage) examination passed.
b) Diploma/degree course in Physiotherapy from a recognized institute
Occupational Therapist
No of Posts: 01 (UR-1)
Minimum Qualification:
a) H.S (+2 stage) examination passed
b) B.Sc. in Occupations Therapy
Age: 18 years to 40 years. Upper age limit is relax able by 5 (five) years in case of SC, ST, PH candidates and Govt. Servants.

Madhyamik or its equivalent Examination passed from any recognized Board/Institution and 3 (three) years Diploma in Medical Laboratory from any recognized Institute.
Experience: Preference will be given to these who have practical experience in line.

8. Program Assistant (Equivalent to LDC)
No of Posts: 01 (UR-1)
Age: 18 years to 40 years. Upper age limit is relax able by 5 (five) years in case of SC, ST, PH candidates and Govt. Servants.
Minimum Qualification:
i) Should have passed Madhyamik/HS or its equivalent examination.
ii) Knowledge of typing in English with minimum speed of 30 words per minuted in case of all categories of Program Assistant/LDC and in case of Bengali Typist capability of typing at least 25 words per minutes.
Experience: Preference will be given to these who have practical experience in line and having knowledge of operating computer & a certificate from any recognized computer institute.
